Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor team for best test practices.
• Configure CI to provide the maximum team benefit, balancing coverage and confidence at each stage.
• Be a leader in ensuring the team collectively takes responsibility for fixing failed tests.
• Engineer solid, reliable automated tests that are considered as reliable as production code.
• Ensure that the team has the right level of test coverage for the product, functional and non-functional tests.
• Enthuse and advocate quality practises across teams.
• Become a trusted authority in your team within QA and Automation matters, with a strong evidence-based case for why a release is ready to ship.
• Help the team to improve test process and automation in an agile environment.
• Perform high quality performance testing.

Job Requirements:

• REST Web Services and HTTP.
• Designing and developing systems for both high availability and scalability.
• Common test automation design patterns.
• Performance testing
• Writing automated tests using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress.io or Appium.io.
• Exposure to cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Test Driven and Behaviour Driven development practices and tools/frameworks.

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience with message queues and event-driven services (eg, Amazon SNS/SQS) also a plus.
• Proven experience creating and/or developing testing frameworks that ensure and enhance quality within a CD environment.
• Experience with tools like SonarQube, Artillery, Pact, and Postman also a plus.
• Experience with web, iOS and Android platforms would be a plus.
