Job Description:

The SQL Developer assists in the development of data integration processes within the Solutions Delivery Platform for all business areas of the organization. Participates in designing enterprise-level solutions for any integration of data from multiple sources ensuring they are performing efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the business and IT teams to create scalable data integrations processes.
• Explores and recommends technologies and techniques to improve data integration functions.
• Delivery of architectures for transformations and modernization of data solutions using Azure cloud data technologies.
• Works with non-technical, subject matter experts to understand underlying data behavior and characteristics in ways that will be new for such non-technical people.
• Makes recommendations, based on data profiling and data analysis, for changes to existing/legacy systems.
• Designs, builds and maintains data integration processes in development, QA and production.
• Identifies and understands source data systems and becomes an expert of data sources and flows.
• Optimizes and tunes data integrations processes for faster performance and maintains data integrity.
• Support the planning and implementation of data design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance and performing needs assessments
• Design, build and maintain Extract Transform & Load (ETL) processes and design data models.
• Uses standard data modeling, data flow, and data documentation tools to analyze, document and present data analysis work.

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

• Very detail oriented with the ability to handled multiple priorities in an organized manner.
• Understanding of batch and streaming data integration methodologies.
• Understands dimensional and star schema Data Warehouse modeling techniques.
• 2-5 years experience in relational database concepts with hands-on experience with MSSQL, OR Oracle.
• NoSQL databases, C#, Python, and SPARK SQL a plus.
• MS/MA in Computer Science, Information Systems, engineering, or related field preferred.
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of API Development – Point to Point API Integration.
• 2-5 years experience in database programming With T-SQL or PL-SQL.
• Operational (24/7) creative, out of the box thinker, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast pace agile environment with multiple competing deadlines.
• 3-5 years experience working with ETL tools (SQL Server Integration Services, Informatica Power-center, Azure or Azure Data Factory) and technologies.
• Advanced working knowledge of data marts, operational data stores, and data lakes.
