Job Description:

The Manager, Data Services will be responsible for data integration, databases and ESB platforms (SOA Architecture) for Spirit Airlines. You will lead a team to develop and deliver innovative BI solutions, and play a key role is solving business problems, building relationships with clients, business stake holders and end users in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide effective architectural and structural design leadership for the applicable business unit.
• Provide effective architectural and structural design leadership for the applicable business unit.
• Responsible for providing technical assessments of new technologies and acquisition candidates to executive management as needed.
• Responsible for the health of the production application databases, data integration and ESB environments.
• Ensure ongoing development, maintenance, and delivery of technical knowledge and expertise and the technical feasibility of large development projects.

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience with architectural design, and strong knowledge architectural governance
• Strong understanding of programming languages, code and database
• Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues
• Ability to introduce/train teams with new technology
• Expert level knowledge in programming language(s). TSQL, SQL, Mulesoft
• Act as a conduit between Global Architecture (Enterprise Architects) and the Engineering or Development teams
• Drive technical direction and architecture evolution via reviews and on floor leadership; actively monitor the Business Unit system health and design and write proposals to remedy the cause of negative trends
• Proactively monitor new development to discover sub-systems or components which should be evolved into shared infrastructure;
• Prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions, identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision making
