Systems Engineering involves defining, developing, maintaining and advising on the effective use of the Publix information technology architecture to maximize their value. Some examples of systems engineering tasks include:

Job Responsibilities:

• System and network management activities
• Problem determination and resolution
• Systems security and vulnerability remediations
• Project team participation, and
• New technology awareness, research and system integration.• Software and hardware installation, configuration, integration and support
• Systems and project design and architecture

Job Requirements:

• Experience with HPE hardware vendor
• Experience with various systems management tools to include SCCM, SCVMM, VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V, VRNI, SDDC Manager, SRM, HP ILO, HPE OneView, etc.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• Experience with Automation and Development Operations
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Two years of experience implementing, supporting and migrating VMware ESXi, VSAN, VRA, and NSX systems
• Two years of experience converting and upgrading Windows Server Operating Systems
