Job Description:

As a Fragrance & Accessories Ambassador of the Maison, you will help your boutique exceed fragrance and accessory sales targets, while elevating each guest’s personal Cartier journey through an emotional experience. You motivate and educate the boutique team to develop cross-selling in the Welcoming Offer categories for Cartier North America, and are an active participant in the daily operations of the boutique.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify clients with interest and potential to grow into additional categories, and direct them to a trusted Sales Associate to continue their Cartier journey
  • Ensure that each client and visitor receives an exceptional welcoming experience, leveraging any waiting period (before or after the appointment) to subtly introduce fragrance and accessories as an emotional component of the Cartier universe and a perfect gifting option
  • Enrich CRM database with notes on client preferences and milestone celebrations
  • Partner with Sales Associates during client appointments to encourage and present cross-category selling opportunities
  • Initiate client outreach by leveraging client lists provided by corporate Client Development team to cultivate enduring brand loyalty
  • Process fragrance and/or accessory sales for Sales Associates, if needed
  • Foster authentic connections with new and existing clients resulting in long-term and trusted relationships that lead to the sale of products
  • Expertly uncover clients’ needs and expectations about fragrance and accessories (for self-purchases and gifts), while handling objections or pushback with ease
  • Host private fragrance / accessories appointments for clients and their friends & family

Job Requirements:

  • General knowledge and interest in perfume and accessory categories
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Structured and vigorous in follow-through
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable sales approach according to client needs and motivations
  • Self-starter with team-player approach to achieving success

Qualification & Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in luxury retail, service or hospitality environment
