Job Description:

To provide analytical support in the assessment of financial advice using a standardize matrix of parameters to mitigate against advice risk

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
• Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
• Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organizational values and service standards
• Provide regular feedback and reporting on identified advice risks and developmental areas to mitigate against these risks
• Analyze and assess records of advice for compliance to regulatory standards and the standardized matrix of parameters to determine the quality of advice given to clients
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
• Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
• Manages risks in own area of responsibility
• Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions

Job Requirements:

• The purpose of the AMS is twofold. It is to fulfil the supervisor requirements where advice is rendered under FAIS.As such the Advice Monitoring Specialist role is responsible for supporting, mentoring, coaching and supervision of the advice process where FAIS regulated advice is rendered given to clients by FAIS regulated advisors under supervision. The Advice Monitoring Specialist inspects documented advice for compliance with FAIS regulation, FNB Advice Philosophy, engagement processes and business rules. The AMS assesses the quality of documented advice both from a content perspective and an alignment to appropriate advice and fair client outcomes

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience – 3 to 5 years in the financial services industry
• Minimum Qualification – Bachelors Degree in Financial Planning, Investment or Risk Management
