Job Responsibilities:
- Updating our CRM system on a daily and weekly basis.
- Ensuring that required call rates are met as part of your KPI’s
- Managing clients’ DSO’s
- Report weekly to Regional Sales Manager
- Prospect for new business and develop a qualified pipeline of leads and convert to actual billing.
- To sign new business for the Cape Town Distribuiton branch and meet monthly and annual new business targets set.
- Assist in tender / proposal production and delivery thereof
- Represent the DSV brand
- Analysis of sales related information and ability to translate the information to show benefits to client and company
- Maintaining client contractual data
- Competitor and industry analysis
- Ensure that required deadlines are met.
- Ensure that sustainable clients are brought on board.
- To record all client meetings on company CRM.
- To meet KPI’s as set by business.
Job Requirements:
- Courier or transport industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Courier / Logistics industry. Or 5-10 years’ experience in a transport Sales and Marketing environment.
- Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Good Presentation skills
- Basic understanding of industry supply chains
- Experience in prospecting for new business & managing a qualified new business pipeline
- Matric essential
- Strong new business development skills
- Experience in achieving new business targets set
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
