Job Description:

Clorox DTC (direct-to-consumer) is the owned & operated e-commerce arm of Clorox where daily interactions and conversations with customers translate into high growth and continuous learnings. The agile, growing team, well-positioned in the New York, San Francisco, and D.C. areas, is made up of cross-functional professionals who launch and grow DTC wellness brands, while simultaneously mobilizing the online presence of Clorox’s well-loved and established retail brands. Functions, similar to any scaled e-commerce company, are wide and varied across R&D; operations; product/experience; marketing; creative; data science/analytics and technology/engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze campaign performance data and work with channel owners to outline optimizations that increase scale and ROAS efficiency
  • Work with data teams to monitor progress against KPIs, metrics and effectiveness of campaigns
  • Deliver campaign recaps to showcase results and identify actionable insights
  • Collaborate with the Product and Product Design teams to ensure consistent user experience that also generates results.
  • Embody our fail fast mentality by developing tests and iterating on learnings across platforms, creative formats, messaging, audiences.
  • Provide a strategic point of view on creative formats, including best practices for different channels and tactics
  • Partner with the Creative team to brief and develop creative concepts and assets
  • Stay on top of the changing marketing ecosystem including advertising formats, channels, and technologies to improve campaign performance
  • Support other Clorox brands as they look to expand into DTC, including Burt’s Bees, Brita and others
  • Work collaboratively with Brand, Creative, Product, and Analytics to plan and execute consumer-focused marketing campaigns
  • Conduct consumer and product research to develop insights to inform campaign planning, audience targeting, and media optimization
  • Be the point person orchestrating go-to-market product launches and brand campaigns
  • Lead collaboration of marketing (acquisition and retention) team members to develop and execute integrated campaign plans leveraging various acquisition channels and retention efforts

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to analyze data from various reporting models in order to draw insights and steer optimizations and testing
  • Strong attention to detail, enjoys organizing and creating process
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing and evolving business objectives
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, iterate based on data, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Candidate will ideally be located in New York but open to remote based on candidate location
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Graduating with Master’s Degree in December 2020 or Spring 2021, or recent Graduate
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, prefer some experience in the e-commerce space
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that is proactive and scrappy that is effective working both independently and collaboratively
  • Self-motivated and strategic thinker with a bias towards action while also being a strong team player
  • Strong collaborator—ability to work across multiple teams and personalities to drive towards common goal
