Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist warehouse personnel with goods receiving issue resolution.
  • Manages associated health, environmental and safety risks for all areas of position.
  • Demonstrates a broad level of proficiency with and a thorough understanding of procurement disciplines and customer business objectives.
  • Supports the implementation of new processes or technologies as appropriate.
  • Insures all internal controls are administered without exception and implements all audit requirements and recommendations.
  • Manage MRP process in SAP, and coordinate repair of stock items as necessary. Run reports for inventory analysis.
    materials and services and the associated systems (Ariba, SAP, ERS, and Maximo); resolves vendor supply / invoicing issues.
  • Responsible for delivering documented savings for procurement and investment recovery efforts.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline environment, handling multiple priorities with demanding schedules
  • 3 years demonstrated procurement or supply chain experience.
  • Knowledge of typical Chevron Contract T&Cs and Catalog.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field such as Supply Chain Management or Engineering
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to process procurement transactions in the relevant ERP system (SAP/Maximo/Ariba)
  • Procurement and Materials Management in a refinery or similar operational environment
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Email, and PowerPoint
