Job Description:
Our Assistant Restaurant Managers are be instrumental in building a thriving workplace culture that has a strong focus on developing their teams. During your shift, you will oversee the front of house operations, which include Luci restaurant (buffet breakfast and à la carte dinner), meetings and events and room service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be operationally hands on and lead by example
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure synergy between the food, dining and service concept
- Have a desire to see your team grow and develop
- Lead and develop a team, ensuring team culture is at the forefront of everything you do
- And (of course), have a customer focused approach to service
- Understand and own your financials. Be a numbers person and challenge revenue driving opportunities through promotions
Job Requirements:
- Well-presented, organised, and have a positive nature
- Desire to create the best working environment for their team
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage labour costs
- Work efficiently under pressure
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and conflict
- A substantial knowledge of wine (WEST certified highly regarded)
Qualification & Experience:
- Fine dining experience is highly regarded
- At least 1 year of experience as leader in a Food & Beverage operation (hotel experience is highly regarded)
