Job Description:
The Scope Technician assesses equipment problems, arranges quotations in collaboration with the unit manager and ensures replacement, maintenance and repairs of scope equipment by CET’s
Job Responsibilities:
- Report all breakages to unit manager and inform CTE/CETA.
- Coordinate with CTE/CETA for assessment, repair and replacements where required through unit manger
- Ensure equipment complies to safety and medico-legal requirements
- To prepare scopes according to the lists, Making sure all the scopes are clean and correct before the procedures and after including manual cleaning, including leak tests.
- Collect all the accessories such as :- biopsy forceps, snares, cables are available before procedures
- Assess equipment problems related to incorrect application or use and assess the need for reporting repair requirement
Job Requirements:
- Relevant experience in Maintenance and Endoscopic Stacks
- Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation
- Work effectively and co-operatively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships that are mutually beneficial
Qualification & Experience:
- 3 years relevant experience in a similar role.
