Job Description:
Our Calgary Digital & IT group is growing and we are seeking four Solution Designers to support our Point of Sale (POS) technology for Suncor’s Retail operations. If you want to be a critical part of our dynamic IT Solution Delivery & Operations team in a fast paced, evolving operating environment, then we are looking for you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in design, architecture and implementation of robust and cost effective solutions to meet business demands
- Implement changes and bug fixes to Quality Assurance and Production environments
- Oversee day to day technical support requirements for payment processing at retail locations
- Address system Improvements to enhance reliability and depth of Suncor’s proprietary Retail Payment applications interfacing with the Point of Sale (POS).
- Guide and mentor team members in all technical aspects
Job Requirements:
- Business acumen in various areas of retail, payment, settlement and reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of Cloud Network and Infrastructure concepts (AWS and Azure)
- Strong analytical skills
- Alignment with our values safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience with EFT payments (Debit / Credit Transactions and formats with ISO8583 preferred)
- Working experience in Agile/ADEM/ and/or DEVops
