Job Description:
This position contributes to Starbucks success by providing support of a confidential and complex nature to a department, business unit or regional office. May provide project support and/or administrative support to multiple team members in the direction of his or her manager. Handles non-routine information and carries out activities following general guidelines with limited direction. Exercises independent thinking and discretion.
Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
Job Responsibilities:
- May provide calendar support to one or more leaders and/or a team
- Assists with the onboarding of new partners
- Proofreads functionally specific materials for accuracy including copy, grammar, and layout and makes appropriate edits
- Proactively identifies and implements processes to improve workflow, organization and communication
- Provides support for meetings, training, seminars, and activities for the department
- Serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external inquiries and responds or escalates as appropriate
- May support the creation and management of project timelines to deliver products and programs
- Coordinates projects or phases of complex projects that support department or functional initiatives; ensure that expected results are achieved within the specified timeframe and on budget
- Meets with departmental managers to coordinate meetings, assignments, and deadlines
- May prepare charts, tables, graphs, and other presentation materials to support functional work
- Coordinates administrative tasks and projects such as tracking budgets, invoice coding, tracking travel expenses, generating reports and identifying variances, updating databases, etc

Qualification & Experience:
- 6 or more months of experience in a role providing general administrative support to others
- High School diploma/GED or 4 or more years of US military service3 or more years of experience in a role performing administrative assistant or coordinator job functions
- 3 or more years of experience in role managing calendars and email in Microsoft Outlook
- Interest and availability to work fixed hours in an office environment
