Acquired Brain Injury Outreach Services are looking for Social Worker – Advanced Rehabilitation Coordinator to join their team. The successful applicant will facilitate successful community reintegration and provide specialist training and consultancy to families/carers and service providers.
- Utilise high level written and oral communication skills in order to engage and establish effective partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders (clients, families/significant others, health practitioners, hospital and community-based service providers and communities) at an individual, service, state-wide, and national level to enhance service provision through collaboration, engagement, communication, and dissemination of information.
- Utilise and apply specialist clinical knowledge, skills, experience, and leadership to independently provide advanced and novel rehabilitation interventions, both discipline-specific and interdisciplinary, for clients with ABI across state-wide locations, enhancing outcomes for clients and their families.
- Utilise and apply high level evidence and judgement to provide specialist policy advice and strategic direction to senior professional management and other stakeholders of ABI community rehabilitation in Queensland to lead service quality and service improvement activities, shape service delivery and contribute to the development of professional competence.
