Sasol Jobs – Business Intelligence Specialist

• Develop the key performance measures in support of the procurement strategy and provide self-service reporting;
• Design and build data architecture for use in procurement to enable easier access and interpretation of data;
• Define and continually improve the methods, tools and frameworks through which reporting are done within procurement;
• Consolidate the measurement and reporting of procurement performance information;
• Consolidate reports on key procurement data and identify deviations and associated risks on procurement performance results;
• Develop, maintain and run the procurement performance dashboard;
• Design and build data visualisation based on underlying data to ensure data-driven decision making;
• Analyse and interpret large data sets through the visualisation of data;
• Test and deploy advanced data analysis tools.

Job Requirements:

• B-degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Economics
• Microsoft Certification as Azure Data Scientist Associate OR Azure Data Engineer Associate OR Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Development will be an advantage

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 6-8 years in data modelling, profiling, normalisation, transformation (SQL), visualisation (PowerBI)
• Minimum 3-4 years in the following applications: SQL, PowerBI, SharePoint site development, PowerApps, Power Automate, Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML)
