Job Description:

Manage and oversee a group of administrators. The role will involve monitoring and facilitating the daily operational activities of your team, work and volume management, ensuring that work is complete within SLA and that client queries are handled efficiently and effectively. Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to ensure excellent client service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of “ad hoc” requests by clients/management
  • Perform in accordance with the company’s core competency expectations
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Optimising resources – coaching team members so that they can perform to their full potential
  • Identify and assist with the development of effective processes and improve current processes
  • Ensure all SLA’s are met
  • Create a positive work environment
  • Management Reporting
  • Effective management of all daily workflows for the team
  • Support team with challenging/complex queries & tasks
  • Quality Control – checking and sign-off of all work items

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced excel skills is a requirement
  • Experience on MIP workflow system will be advantageous
  • Sound Knowledge of products, processes and services in the Group Risk environment
  • Understanding of rules and policy regulations with regards to schemes/funds
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Matric with a C- symbol in either Mathematics or Accounting essential
  • At least 3 – 5 years knowledge of the Group Risk business relating to premium administration; member management and medical underwriting processes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
