Job Description:
The Clinical Facilitator is responsible for the facilitation of teaching and learning of the theoretical and clinical component in a clinical environment to reinforce the learning process as well as the integration of theory and practice to reinforce the learning process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Planning, preparation and presentation of theoretical teaching lectures as per set curricula and educational norms and values
- Setting, marking and moderation of tests and examinations
- Remedial teaching and academic support to learners on all shifts (including night shift and weekends where required)
- Develop and control of a learner support system
- Teach and correlate appropriate clinical skills and assist with the teaching of practical skills in conjunction with theory
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of stakeholder relationship management
- Knowledge of the legislative and business climate pertaining to general and nursing education
- Knowledge of government and private partnerships
- Knowledge of educational and business management principles
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in the clinical nursing environment
- Minimum two year working experience as a Registered Nurse
