Job Description:
To supervise relevant departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and DC (Distribution Centre) associates in a distribution/ warehouse operations department.
Job Responsibilities:
- To ensure the correct Protective Protection is used on the production floor, to ensure Machine Handling Equipment (MHE) operators have the applicable licenses, to ensure workplace organization method (i.e. Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain -5S) is maintained on the operations floor.
- To supervise staging reports to ensure location accuracy.
- To supervise departmental DC associates ensuring time keeping and attendance is met.
- To supervise production efficiencies to ensure targets are met timeously.
Job Requirements:
- Business understanding of DC Operations and retail in general.
- Applicable warehouse management systems knowledge.
