Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Talent Management, this unique one-year opportunity will act as a Project Manager for Talent Acquisition Programs and work with the JPL Talent Management (TM) team (HR Business Partners, Talent Specialists, Employee Relations, Experienced Recruitment team, University Recruitment team, and JPL’s International Office) and key JPL partners to implement new cutting-edge talent acquisition technologies, support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, and work with our university recruiting team to develop and enhance our programs to attract and acquire the world’s most exceptional talent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a project manager for key processes, projects, and initiatives – including assessing current processes, recommending options, and creating project plans to implement solutions.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team, TM team, JPL DEI partners, and the JPL HR organization to implement strategic recruitment programs
- In partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, assess options, plan, organize and schedule activities to meet objectives. Ensure that activities are well-documented and communicated to all relevant teams
- Work with our vendors, HRIS, change management, HR Business Partners, Talent Specialists, and recruiters to implement key technology projects such as our Candidate Relationship Management System, Internal Mobility, and more
- Develop materials, participate in, and complete deliverables regarding client informational updates, training sessions, and key briefings
- Support our University Recruiting team through strategic workforce planning and summer internship program events to encourage retention, intern conversion, inclusion and belonging
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite; project management application experience is a plus
- Experience with Project Management technology and tracking systems; ability to develop and maintain a project plan for all aspects of assigned projects
- Proven ability to research, gather information, and recommend solutions to fit the strategic vision and organizational needs
- Passion and experience for creating positive change around the candidate experience, recruitment practices, and internal mobility efforts
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 9 years of related experience; Masters degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience; Advanced degree preferred
- Experience with modern recruitment platforms and virtual environments: Applicant Tracking Systems, Candidate Relationship Management Systems, Event Technology and Sourcing Platforms. Workday, Phenom, Yello, Handshake preferred.
- Experience managing and implementing major talent acquisition technology projects
