Job Description:
As the Manager of Product Management, you will help define and launch Hilton’s next big initiatives. The manager will play a key role in enhancing our platform to enable a world where we provide personalized customer experiences and seamless support across all channels. This role will develop recommendations to encourage and drive customer-centric decisions across the business. You will have the opportunity to define, implement, and deliver high-impact products that will improve customer experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize critical thinking to identify new opportunities that will improve revenue, reduce operational costs, and drive the most impact
- Collaborate with Software Engineering in an agile environment to deliver on new features, resolve product issues and act as an advocate for your assigned product(s)
- Write top-notch business requirements and ensure technical teams are aligned with your requirements
- Research and develop business cases for new product concepts and present them to both technical and business partners
- Define a product’s key success metrics, analyze/present metrics post-launch, and quickly act on trends that arise from those metrics
- Resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and decide on trade-offs, and ultimately balance business demands with technical/time constraints
- Own product strategy from concept thru launch, along with future iterations
- Define and prioritize product features that drive the most impact
Job Requirements:
- Broad understanding of product ownership, requirement development, technical competence
- Effective switch-tasking, handling multiple projects and priorities under time constraints to effectively balance concurrent demands
- Ability to collaborate optimally, influence, and form positive partnerships on large scale projects with team members in groups and levels across a matrixed organization
Qualification & Experience:
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Five (5) years of work experience in Product Management
- Experience with customer support tools and contact center automation. Amazon connect or Salesforce knowledge preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Product related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Product related experience
- Nine (9) + years of professional work experience in product, customer experience, technology, or a related field
- Seven (7) years of professional work experience in product, customer experience, technology, or a related field
- Experience with agile tools such as JIRA
- Experience in key product management functions, including writing user stories, crafting wireframes, market research, and reporting metrics
- Three (3) years of agile product management experience in web, mobile, or voice for customer support
- Six (6) + years of agile product management experience in web, mobile, or voice for customer support
