Job Description:

Dis-Chem Pharmacies require the services of a reputable Digital Marketing Manager based at their head office in Midrand.  The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the digital strategy, tracking and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across digital channels. Leading integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.  Manages the digital marketing team and works closely with the marketing and online teams, agencies and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.

Job Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
• Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
• Plan and execute all digital marketing within scope, including direct marketing, email, social media and display advertising campaigns, SEO/SEM.
• Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
• Collaborate with online team to create landing pages and optimize user experience
• Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Manages digital paid media
• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
• Develop and implement social media strategy with digital agencies/social media specialists
• Develop and manage digital budget and planning
• Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels

Job Requirements:

• Gr12/ Matric
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS (advantageous)
• Knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics)
• Experience in optimizing user funnels, and A/B and multivariate experiments
• Proven working experience in digital marketing
• BS/MS Degree in Marketing or Related Field
• Proven working experience in retail environment
