Job Description: An opportunity has just become available in our Leisurewear Department for a resilient, innovative and resourceful Buyer who can add value to our Menswear team through the successful trending, sourcing and procurement of Menswear merchandise for Tread & Miller. Job Responsibilities: Range preparation, coordination and presentation Range execution in alignment with the business objectives Effectively collaborating with the relevant stakeholders and departments General buying administrative functions Negotiate and manage supplier contracts Presenting range reviews Controlling sample stock Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers Overseeing the Product Quality and Fit Job Requirements: A clear understanding of menswear styling, components and construction A working knowledge of the latest Microsoft packages is required Working knowledge of the retail cycle and merchandise buying principles and processes Qualification & Experience: Experience working in a clothing retail environment is an important requirement Grade 12 certificate and a relevant tertiary qualification is required Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required Preference will be given to candidates who have a relevant tertiary qualification or experience in Design. 3 - 5 years of retail merchandise buying experience is essential Job Details: Company: Cape Union Mart Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacanciesforyou.xyz
