Job Description:

As a Barclays Climate Change Business Solutions BA/PM, within our Strategic Impact Assessment team, you’ll be striving to achieve Barclays climate change commitments, ensuring that the priorities of business are reflected and embedded into the climate change strategy. This opportunity will give you the chance to work across multiple business areas and with key decision makers throughout the Bank, to ensure our climate commitments a priority for everyone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with stakeholders across risk, data & technology and the business to help define business processes and operating model decisions for priority use cases
• Structuring benefits assessments and quantifying impact of technology changes to the respective businesses and functions
• Embedding and tracking remediation plans and identified opportunities for change and improvement
• Monitoring and managing impact of climate change regulatory requirements on the business priorities
• Interlocking with in-flight internal programmes and investments to ensure alignment with climate standards and business priorities
• Working partnership with the Business Solutions Lead, using their experience and insight to help engage senior leaders, maintaining a focus on delivering outcomes,
• Working to remove blockers and resolve risks and issues through deploying appropriate governance and oversight of delivery (including the Project and/or Programme Forum)

Job Requirements:

• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiations and relationship development skills
• Ability to master and navigate new subject domains quickly
• Corporate and/or Investment banking experience
• Ability to navigate a cross-functional and/or multi-regional environment
• Experience working with stakeholders in risk, data & technology
• Experience working on large change programmes on strategic business priorities
• Exceptional level of analytical skills
