RBC Careers – Associate eFX Quant Developer

Job Description:

Work with the eFX Trading desk to develop and implement strategies for pricing, risk management, and execution algorithms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop tools and processes to facilitate a deeper understanding of FX Markets leading to continuous improvements in RBC’s FX trading algorithms
• Manage the release and integration of new trading algorithms
• Assist with the development of proprietary signals used within the trading algorithms
• Liaise with IT counterparts to define the interaction of the trading strategies within broader FX systems
• Develop and implement RBC’s FX electronic trading algorithms for pricing, risk management, and execution algorithms

Job Requirements:

• University degree in a STEM subject
• Required Good quantitative and analytics skills
• Strong computing background with experience in Java development
• Preferred experience with low-latency development
• Experience with KDB/Q development
• Experience with Python development
• Number of years work experience in eFX algorithm development
