Job Description:
Working with the Online UX and Product team to create an exceptional eCommerce experience that supports the Online strategy. Making deliberate design decisions and translating any given user experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interface that drives sales, conversion, and user satisfaction across the Woolworths Online/eCommerce channels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Extensive QA testing with developers to ensure that all projects meet the required quality standards before go-live
- Maintaining the overall consistency of the visual communication of the product
- Collaborating with stakeholders and team members to create quality and seamless experiences for our customers
- Extensive interaction with front end developers in co-creating interactions and prototyping options and ideas
- Proactively contributing design ideas and improvements to our online and app shopping experience
- Crafting documentation, presentation, and reporting templates
- Handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and workshops with UX designers
- Maintaining the overall consistency of the visual communication of the product
- Keeping up to date with UI eCommerce trends
- Interactive prototyping for stakeholder presentations and user testing
- Seeing projects through from inception to production
- Managing, using, and continuously enhancing on our Figma design system
- Creating intuitive, responsive interfaces from wireframes and prototypes
Job Requirements:
- The ability to provide a solid rationale, supported by data to inform decisions
- Thrives in a collaborative environment
- Experience in creating, using and maintaining design systems
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in and understanding of the agile process and methodology
- Responds well to feedback from stakeholders and team members
- Proficient in Sketch
- Experience using collaboration tools such as Slack, JIRA, Trello
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and ability to easily interface developers, products owners and other UX and UI designers
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Highly proficient Figma
- Experience in crafting intuitive interfaces for mobile and web
- 5+ years UI design experience
- Self starter and problem solver
- Portfolio of samples of work
- Delivery focussed, goal driven and flexible
