Job Description:
The Department of Community Safety, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to manage the strategic planning process and systematic information and knowledge management processes in the Chief Directorate. This post is stationed in Cape Town.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide management support on policy and strategic matters
- Management of the financial and human resources of the programme
- Develop, review and maintain a strategic process in line with the MTSF
- Support the programme manager in the implementation of ad hoc projects.

- Management of Public Finances in line with PFMA and Treasury Regulations
- Monitoring and evaluation methods, tools and techniques.

- Planning and organising

- Team Leadership.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Qualification & Experience:
- An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher)
- A minimum of 5 years relevant management level experience.
