Job Description:

Provide first line advice to key stakeholders across given areas / locations on all employment matters.
Create and maintain a fair and consistent HR approach across given areas / locations. Provide a full generalist HR service ensuring that people issues are at the heart of day to day business operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve leadership and manager capability by challenging, influencing and supporting in a way that increases knowledge, understanding and ability to manage people effectively at all levels.
  • Coach, challenge and support managers on their accountability for the creation and delivery of their people plans, continuously reviewing to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Support management to effectively complete key people management processes by supporting and contibuting on performance and career progression discussions.
  • Adapt effectively to changes within the company/business to ensure people plans remain appropriate and the HR approach is aligned.
  • Advise on all Employee Relations issues, company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure robust audit trails are in place for all cases
  • Provide guidance and advice and where necessary deliver investigation, disciplinary and grievance hearings through to completion.
  • Analyse HR and business data to identify trends and proactively review with relevant managers.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to plan, prioritise workload and manage time based on business need.
  • Delivery of effective performance management processes.
  • Working in a multi-site environment preferably within a fast paced retail business
  • Coaching and training experience to deliver bespoke training to all levels of management
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working as a HRBP / equivalent.
  • Broad generalist HR experience across all disciplines.
  • Strong ER exposure particularly dealing with investigations and disciplinary issues
  • Broad knowledge of HR procedures and policies
