Total Sports Online Application – Shipping Costings Controller

Job Description:

An exciting position has come available for a Shipping Controller: Costings in the Merchandise Supply Chain division of The Foschini Group.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend meetings and correspondence as required
• Verify accuracy of all landed cost inputs to negotiated Service Provider Invoices and Internal Provisions
• Ensure that the landed cost for all import orders are accurately processed on Tradecloud within the set SLA
• Check the Import Customs Worksheet – ensure that all import duties are calculated in-line with the correct H.S. codes
• Reporting – Compare CLC to ALC accuracy
• Assist with Audit and Costing Queries

Job Requirements:

• Preferred knowledge and excellent understanding of Incoterms ® and H.S Codes

Qualification & Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in Imports Costings, logistics and International Trade Environment
• Computer literacy and experience in MS Excel is preferred.
• Preferable Experience with import costing on systems such as Tradecloud, SAP, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of international supply chain and transport regulations
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and organizational skills
