We have some an exciting opportunity for experienced Cyber Security Specialist – IT Security to join Tesco Bank’s CISO function. In this role you will provide operational expertise in the use of cyber security tools and processes and, where appropriate, support and implement security controls to protect Tesco Bank customers, systems, assets and organisational data against technical threats.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with the business to help mitigate information security risk.
• Monitoring the application and compliance of security operations procedures and review information systems for actual or potential breaches in security. This includes monitoring that security records are accurate and complete.
• Undertaking ad-hoc cyber related work items as required.
• Managing IT Security 3rd party Suppliers, ensuring they perform to the required SLAs and where appropriate escalate any trends or issues.
• Drafting, reviewing and maintaining procedures and documentation for CISO related operational activity
• Identifying, reporting and assisting in remediation for vulnerabilities or control weaknesses.
• Supporting CISO line management to define and implement requirements for Security led projects.
• Ensuring that system changes required to maintain security are implemented, raising change documentation as appropriate.
• Managing the production of MI and reporting.
• Ensuring that all identified breaches are promptly and thoroughly investigated, updating process documentation where required.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge project and change within an organisation
• Communication (Verbal & Written) – Reporting – Information Analysis
• Good working knowledge of risk management techniques
• Experience of working in an related IT/IS operational environment
• Stakeholder Management (Internal & External i.e. 3rd parties)
• Knowledge of maintaining procedures and undertaking associated assurance
• IS & IT Security Technical Skills & Expertise
• Sound knowledge of IT/IS Security tools and processes
• Experience in providing effective MI to Senior Management
