Job Responsibilities:
- Analyse factors inhibiting candidate (driver) acquisition and implement strategies to reduce attrition through on-boarding
- Ensure that the systems and procedures used are innovative, competitive, scalable and can be integrated with other systems
- Optimise talent acquisition processes based on trend analysis, operational constraints & bottlenecks, and varying business requirements
- Closely collaborate with and guide the Takealot Delivery Team and Mr D Food driver recruitment teams
- Review and improve existing processes and establish new system requirements to align process requirements with business needs
- Partner with the Franchisee / Hub Manager and the Mr D Food driver team on all recruitment activities and initiatives to maximize engagement and retention of Drivers
- Establish recruitment priorities based on geographic and weekday requirements with the relevant Driver Operations Managers
- Report on a weekly and monthly basis on lead generation, funnel progress and conversion metrics
- Establish the requirements and the efforts of the various driver vacancy advertising and sourcing channels (print, digital, social, specialist recruiters etc.)
- Review, revise, and develop standard operating procedures to guide the operational structures in their recruitment efforts
- Identify talent management opportunities and pools and equip the team with the frameworks, tools and guidelines to effectively build a talent pool in support of Group objectives
- Manage, and where applicable, design talent acquisition tools, systems, policies and procedures in collaboration with the relevant Driver Operations Managers of Takealot Delivery Team and Mr D Food
- Design attraction strategies aligned with workforce plans
Job Requirements:
- Experience managing a team around collective goals and targets
- End to end project and team management
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience within eCommerce is advantageous
- Experience on bulk recruitment
- Experience driving a data-driven recruitment approach at scale
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology
- 5 years’ experience in Talent acquisition, recruitment, HR generalist
