Job Description:
As a Flight Attendant you will be responsible for ensuring passengers’ safety and comfort. This includes ensuring compliance and providing customer service for the passengers on-board. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines
- Responsible for the sale of onboard liquor, food, and other amenities
- Deliver service of meals and beverages according to service standards
- Respond to customer illness and injury and administer first aid
- Diffuse situations with unruly or upset customers and maintain order in the cabin
- Ensure safety, security, and comfort of our customers
- Ensure compliance with mandated Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations
Job Requirements:
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Able to be away from home for up to six (6) nights in a row
- Willing to relocate to within 2 hours of Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) while on “reserve” (on call) status
- Willing to work “reserve” (on call) status for extended period of time (see Work Schedule information below for additional detail)
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Ability to read, write, understand and clearly speak in English
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum of two years direct customer service experience
- Must be able to complete and pass a post-offer pre-employment background check, including airport security clearance and a fingerprint-based background and criminal history record check required by federal law.
