Job Description: The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Procurement Manager. Job Responsibilities: Excellent knowledge and understanding of construction materials Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact Build Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Analyse alternatives, and develop viable recommendations Provide Tender support, preparation, and analysis according to Tender specifications and requirements Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities Develop and maintain supplier / sub-contractor database Meet with Potential Vendor representatives to improve product knowledge and negotiate buying options Liaise closely with the estimator at the tendering stage. Obtain best prices from supplier/ sub-contractor that comply with the Tender conditions, requirements, and specifications.
