Sibanye Jobs – Shift Supervisor Mining

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe working place where training takes place
• Planning and controlling of crew
• Safe and efficient ore extraction operation in designated areas
• Supervision and inspection of completed work
• Assist with ad hoc business improvement projects and relieving duties

Job Requirements:

• Hold a relevant valid Blasting Certificate
• Have three years’ experience as a Stoping Miner/Crew Captain
• Be in possession of Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
• Be in possession of a valid First Aid Certificate
• Preferably be in procession of a Shift Boss Certificate
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Relevant 3 years mining experience as a Shift Supervisor
• Proven great Safety and Production results
• Compliance with COP`s and legal requirements
