Sibanye Gold Mine Vacancies – Environmental Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing onsite guidance, training and development to Environmental Officers / Environmental Assistants
• Comprehensive reporting and communication
• Conducting / participating in / overseeing / managing area and onsite inspections
• Quality checking occurrences logged by the Environmental Officers / Environmental Assistants
• Logging quality incidents, non-conformances and complaints (aligned with policy) on PIVOT
• Ensuring the action plans and initiatives / projects determined by the Environmental Compliance Coordinator and Environmental Compliance
• Coordinator Unit Manager are executed.
• Proactive environmental incident management including tracking, managing, reporting and closing out of the incidents

Job Requirements:

• Sufficient relevant experience in the field of Environmental Engineering (NQF6)
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
• Post graduate qualification in Natural Sciences and Environmental Engineering (NQF6)
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Professional registration (SACNASP)
• An Environmental Engineering qualification (NQF6) and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the field of environmental management.
• An environmental tertiary qualification from an accredited institution (NQF 5) in the field of Environmental Management and a minimum of 2 years’ experience or
