Job Description:

Sefton Fostering Service is growing … We are looking to create a third team to provide greater focus and support for our Connected Carers and Special Guardians. The Service is currently supported by 2 teams – Recruitment and Support & Supervision, Support and Review. We require a third Team Manager to strengthen and develop the service.

Job Responsibilities:

• The successful person will have management responsibility for a team of social workers and placement support workers and will be expected to provide robust, reflective supervision in line with Seftons supervision policy.

Job Requirements:

• Applicants should have proven management experience or be ready to demonstrate that they are able to step up to this role.
• Knowledge of Fostering Services, recruitment, support and retention of carers and relevant legislation and Fostering regulations is essential.
• Please note that in order to apply for this post you must be qualified and registered as a Social Worker with SWE and have post qualifying experience in safeguarding children.
