Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist at the 25Kg Ligno powder bagging plant as required and assist with loading of Ligno tankers at Reclaim tank loading bay.
• Regularly Inspects equipment for preventative maintenances purposes and comply with all relevant SHEQ requirements of the job.
• Identify and take corrective action in terms of SHEQ conditions and hazards and maintains a high level of good housekeeping in the workplace at all times.
• Manage day stock of Sulphite bags. Communicate with Logistics department to request sulphite deliveries to the plant.
• Monitoring sump levels prevention of effluent spillages and take samples and transport to lab for analysis. (Sulphite and Caustic)
• Manage day stock of Sulphite bags. Communicate with Logistics department to request sulphite deliveries to the plant.
• Clean Batch tank on a regular basis to remove contaminants as well as clearing blockages in lines, pumps, cooking liquor strainers, etc.
• Monitor storages levels (cooking liquor and Buffer liquor) and recover rejected SLS powder bags to WRL tank.
• Manage day stock of Sulphite bags. Communicate with Logistics department to request sulphite deliveries to the plant.
• Conducts Plant inspection to ensure that the plant & equipment is in a safe working condition.
• Conducts Isolation and clearance permits and operates Over Head Crane at Batch plant.
