Job Description:

The IT Infrastructure Manager required who possesses a sound understanding of servers and other IT technologies. Applicant must also be able to understand the organization’s strategic direction and align it to technologies needed to achieve company goals. Achieve objectives of this being a managed service while understanding cloud smart solutions working with all the Development Managers and Application Owners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Multi-Vendor delivery, inter-dependency and relationship management.
• Solid understanding of physical and virtual infrastructure management including storage, backups and disaster recovery.
• Vendor liaison on all queries and issues raised for resolution.
• Standards, policies and procedures to endure regulatory adherence.
• Relationship building
• Translation of the organisation’s strategy into implementable actions.
• Implement strong monitoring capabilities with automated escalation and notifications. Produce standard reports on a monthly basis on performance as well as future consumption trends that might become risks.

Job Requirements:

• B Com (IS) / BSC Informatics or equivalent
• 10 years + working experience in this environment
• Experience with or administration of Operating Systems, Core Infrastructure Hardware, Active Directory and other Windows Based Systems
• Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments.
