Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive team at the forefront of business change. The Labour team in Sainsburys is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our labour models. You would have responsibility for keeping the Store Investment programme up to date with the correct allocations of labour. You would also be integral to influencing business change projects by providing accurate data and insight whilst also providing a great service to our stores, responding to queries and resolving their issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce Period update data in line with agreed timescales and project plans.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure information is provided accurately
  • Own the resolution of labour queries, running any required updates and sport trends and common themes
  • Answer queries thoroughly, courteously and within agreed timescales to support store understanding and engagement with labour management
  • Own and proactively provide Labour inline with Property’s investment program, modelling data to give insight to future labour use and drive integrity in our Labour systems to provide accurate forecasted Labour spend
  • Model business cases in OPUS and Kronos to provide business owners with accurate data to make informed decisions on labour efficiencies and improvements

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Kronos Workforce Management Systems, Opus Labour Standards repository labour processes i.e. scheduling
  • Computer programming, coding and analysing skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and exceptional Excel skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate required outcomes and present analytical work in a clear and succinct manner to all colleagues, at all levels, across all functions
  • Good understanding of store operations
  • Experience working in cross functional teams, building great working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to read and interpret data produced, previous analyst experience is desirable
  • Understanding of data strengths and weaknesses and able to articulate
