Job Description:

The TMG Analyst will deliver a responsible and pro-active service to the businesses involved in the creation of structured product securities, as well as maintain/create an appropriate range of issuance platforms for use in the regions that the businesses operate, as required. The role will also manage the documentation process for issuance of structured products, and ensure documentation reflects the business objectives without exposing relevant parties to any risk, whether legal or financial, that has not been appropriately considered.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation and production of standard form Terms Sheets and Final Terms/Pricing Supplements for all products;
• Review additional documentation relating to structured product issuance, including, but not limited to Distribution Agreements, Introducing
• Broker Agreements and Advisor Managed Transaction Agreements;
• Work with Front Office Business Technology and Vendors on refining, maintaining and enhancing existing platform capabilities;
• Liaison with Group Law on relevant matters to ensure legal risk to RBC is minimised;
• Ensure that all templates are kept up to date and that the automated documentation platform uses the most up to date templates;
• Liaise with RBC (as issuer), third party issuers, external lawyers and internal Structuring and Sales Teams.
• Liaison with Group Law and advising Sales & Structuring in respect of legal and regulatory developments;

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work meticulously under a high degree of pressure and strict deadlines
• Exceptional written and verbal skills.
• Intermediate level coding skills
• Capital Markets experience and knowledge of structured products and derivatives across all asset classes;
• Legally qualified or extensive structured product experience within an investment banking environment.
• Highly numerate;
• In-depth understanding of various MTN programs and related trade documentation
