Job Description:

As a Publix Refrigeration Technician, you will have the opportunity to provide premier customer service to our retail stores through daily preventive maintenance and service of our refrigeration rack systems. You can make a difference in the quality and reliability of our refrigeration systems by applying your expert knowledge of the trade while serving as a full time Publix associate.

Job Responsibilities:

• performing preventive maintenance and repairs on the rack refrigeration systems for all refrigerant types in Publix retail locations
• performing preventive maintenance and repairs on the refrigeration systems of remote cases
• visiting stores and communicating with retail management to ensure their HVAC and refrigeration systems are functioning as designed
• evaluating and providing oversight and guidance to refrigeration service contractors to ensure safe, timely, and high quality service for our retail locations
• performing general maintenance and repairs on refrigeration controllers and Energy Management Systems
• providing training and mentoring to less experienced refrigeration technicians on maintenance of advanced refrigeration systems
