Publix Part Time Jobs – Pharmacy Warehouse Specialist

Job Description:

A Warehouse Specialist is responsible for a variety of processing steps to ensure adequate delivery of prescription medication. The job is both physical and technical as they are working with intricate machines and robotics throughout the day. Associates are responsible for receiving supplies and inventory, manifesting, packaging, and stacking totes and coolers, keeping equipment operating by loading consumables and solving errors and maintaining the overall appearance and upkeep of the facility. They help reduce shrink by bailing cardboard and sorting through products and recyclable materials.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receiving and checking in inventory, moving about the facility with hand-trucks and pallet jacks.
• Loading paper supplies such as bags, paper, and labels into all prescription filling robots and packing machines.
• Operating, clearing jams, and troubleshooting robots and sortation machines.
• Maintaining robot machines, cleaning, filling and refilling supplies and inventory to ensure correct store assignment.
• Accepting supplies, totes, and foam coolers as returns from Publix Pharmacies, cleaning, stacking, and preparing for transporting inventory back out to the stores.
• Labeling shipping totes, placing them in the correct location in sortation machine, ready to ship out completed prescriptions.
• Cleaning warehouse area free of trash, recycling, cardboard, and other items.
• Packing and loading totes and coolers for the transportation and delivery to Publix store locations.
