Job Description:

Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the Social Media Executive will be a key member of the team in executing the day-to-day social media priorities. Work alongside the Social Media Executive to deliver and manage the social media strategy set by the Social Media Manager, own all publishing across platforms by campaign, always on and reactive content- planning, drafting, scheduling, publishing, monitoring and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write engaging copy for social media posts in line with the social media content calendar; ensuring that all content and TOV is on brand.
  • Create and manage weekly and monthly reports for the social media team as well as stakeholders and/or campaign leads.
  • Daily monitoring of social performance against set KPIs as well as monitoring cultural/pop trends (social listening, platform monitoring) daily and suggest reactive content to the Social Media Manager and content team.
  • Analyse and report on success on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis including future recommendations to test.
  • Manage and plan at high level all content publishing at least 2 weeks in advance laddering back to the marketing calendar.
  • Proactively share plans with Social Media Manager weekly for direction and/or approval
  • Responsible for updating planning documents daily including calendars, planning documents and schedules. Tag content for reporting and monitoring.
  • Generate ideas for BAU creative production and liaise with editorial and content teams to bring ideas to life and to allocate resources as necessary.
  • Continuously monitor UGC from influencers, micro-influencers & fan community, selecting key posts for approval & inclusion of social plan.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of social media metrics and content performance
    Strong copywriting skills, and an ability to adapt brand tone of voice to reflect community expectations
    Minimum 2 years’ experience in a social media role (FMCG, Brand or Agency), with a solid understanding of consumer social media platforms particularly Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter and Facebook
    Excellent planning and organisational skills, managing calendars and campaign documents
    Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of SEO copy is viewed as a plus.
    Proficiency with social software’s i.e., Facebook Business Manager / Hootsuite/ Sprinklr
    Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace.
    Keen interest in emerging platforms and technologies
