Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a people and customer focused individual to join the team as a Transport Scheduler here in York. This is one of the few roles in Supply Chain where you get to work with all our amazing NiM (Nestle in the Market) businesses.

Job Responsibilities:

• To build work schedules for own fleet and third-party columns that are highly efficient and deliver excellent customer service. You will also act as the main contact to factories and chocolate supply chain
• To buy in third party transport using the prescribed process, to achieve best costs and excellent customer service
• To undertake NUK DC Planning and Atlas load planning for NIM DCs to manage volumes within the agreed capacities, and act as main contact for a Nestle Waters

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with peers and leaders is essential.
• Experience in successfully managing multiple priorities.
• You will be customer focused and always have the customer at the forefront of your mind.
• You will have the ability to challenge and motivate in a matrix organisation
• Have good geographical knowledge of the UK&I
• Computer literate and able to pull together information from a variety of sources
