MRC Job Vacancies – Research Technologist

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide research support or data management for study activities
• File building, indexing, and archiving
• End of study document inventory
• Assist with procurement and monitoring of study items including participant vouchers and assets
• Supply Chain monitoring and management including participant vouchers and study assets
• Liaise with Study Coordinator, Data Assistant, Fieldworkers and Principal investigators regarding data queries
• Training and ongoing support of Fieldworkers to collect quality data
• Present report during meetings
• Ensure all necessary permissions are obtained for site entry
• Plan health facility data collection visits with Field Workers
• Ensure participant recruitment conducted correctly
• Maintain daily and weekly tracking of progress with data collection
• Ensure source documents are completed as per the protocol; study SOPs, and GCP guidelines
• Ensure data are entered correctly on REDCap questionnaire
• Data from fieldworkers collated, checked, and cleaned
• Ensure participants for qualitative component are contacted before scheduled visit
