Job Description:

The Associate Sourcing Manager will play a significant role in supporting the Global Sourcing Managers to drive the direct imports, achieve savings plans, and support the team to successfully execute the strategies and meet the financial goals established by the company for assigned product categories.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the relationship with agents in Asia to support vendor set up, pre-production meetings, and vendor issues.
• Support category sourcing strategies, responsible for financial analysis and to meet all savings goals.
• Provide data collection for bids and cost-saving projects such as SKUs lists, cost analysis, inventory levels, vendor information, and sample collection.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive the growth of direct imports through effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Support the sourcing strategy and achieve the company savings plan.

Job Requirements:

• Other duties as assigned
• Be part of the link between all internal and external stakeholders including Category Management, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Vendor Relations, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Inventory Management, Vendors and Sourcing Agents.

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience with a major retailer, brand or product development/sourcing company in sourcing, production, buying or product development role
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills are required
• Bachelor’s degree
