Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle grievances – support owners in grievance prep.
  • Update and maintain documentation on FLIP
  • Succession planning/ talent maps
  • Ensure that the interests of employees and company are considered in accordance with HR policies and applicable government laws and regulations – i.e.: ESA, Human Rights Code.
  • Provide guidance, direction and advice to the client (District Manager and Franchise owner) regarding employment related issues including the interpretation of company policies & procedures, recruitment & selection strategy, terminations, strategic planning, training & development and benefits administration; employment legislation.
  • Uses judgment supported by human resource acumen and practical experience to escalate matters as required.
  • Compensation – wage scales, merit increases and salary recommendations.
  • Recognize barriers to success and facilitate proactive dispute resolution that supports a performance driven culture.
  • Franchise Development program – Support candidate selection, program administration, partner will key stakeholders across the organization to develop content, facilitate, and provide candidate support. Support objective settings to ensure the goals of the program are achieved.
  • Performance Management consultation – review of tools for franchise owners and developing PIP for franchise owners and DM support over the phone)
  • Engagement Survey – development of tools are resources, action planning and store engagement support.
  • Assist the client in achieving their goals by identifying human resources and organizational development issues and by leading the analysis & diagnosis of client needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement & best practices to influence human resources strategies
  • Support the delivery and deployment of HR programs and processes and participate in coaching and guiding store Owners.
