Job Description: A vacancy exists for a Senior IT Project Manager, based at Life Healthcare Head Office, reporting to Head IT Planning, Analysis and PMO. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible. Job Responsibilities: Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals Manage multiple projects at Portfolio and project level Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project Assist in the cost management for Business cases Perform risk management to minimise project risks Ensure resource availability and allocation Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Implement projects within defined governance standards and project methodologies, i.e Safescrum, Waterfall or Hybrid Manage internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Report and escalate to management as needed Use and continually develop leadership skills Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Job Requirements: 5-9 years experience in IT Project Management Bachelor’s degree in IT or computer science. Post graduate qualification in Project Management.
