Job Description:
Kumon North America seeks a video producer who is strongly creative, with a terrific eye for catching and telling stories. This position reports to the Manager of the Events Team and collaborates with many different teams within the organization as well as outside vendors. The Videographer/Producer will be able to develop and produce videos from start to finish as a team of one. Including but not limited to planning, filming, and editing video content. The Videographer/Producer will be able to work in a collaborative team to create the film or video products needed and determine the correct equipment needed for the desired outcome.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, transport, set up, and operate production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions
- Film videos on set or on location
- Prepare background film or B roll
- Troubleshoot problem with equipment
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Film high quality B roll that elevates video production
- Capture action/desired message using camera, lighting, and audio equipment
- Direct people to capture specific action/shots and events for the camera
- Operates video, camera, and related equipment in the production
Job Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with camera equipment
- Excellent computer literacy
- Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and responsibilities at a time.
Qualification & Experience:
- Advanced understanding and experience with Adobe InDesign and entire Adobe Creative Suite programs, specifically After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Photoshop, Final Cut is required.
- Advanced lighting production and sound experience
