Job Responsibilities:

• Under general direction, supervises, directs and coordinates transmission activities
• Ensures adequate staffing and resources to support the transmission operations function.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) certification (BITO or RO) examination is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related degree and five years of increasingly responsible electric system operations experience including transmission dispatching, balancing authority, interchange administration and developing transmission processes with two years of lead or functional supervision experience.
• A valid driver’s license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
• Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required in electric system operations experience including transmission dispatching, balancing authority, interchange administration and developing transmission processes with two years of lead or functional supervision experience.
• An official current driving record (obtained within the last six months) from your local State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or from official DMV website must accompany job application (no third party records accepted).
