Job Description:

This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Asst Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner. Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct training for staff and stakeholders on all aspects of the funding processing.
• Provide expert technical assistance and guidance to other organizational elements within
• Multifamily and stakeholders to assure funding flows to the project timely.
• Evaluates data quality to assure program data funds are accurate, complete, and timely.
• Serve as a team lead/mentor with other Funding Specialists on relevant special projects and tasks assigned by the Asset Management Division Directors or Branch Chiefs.

Job Requirements:

• Specialized experience in independently and proactively identifying issues that could cause a delay in the receipt of funding at the project level and initiating prompt corrective action and intervention.
• Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• Specialized experience in interpreting and applying laws, regulations, and precedents applicable to funding; AND
• Specialized experience in comprehensive knowledge of administrative and technical work as relative to funding principles, practices, methods and techniques for the processing, maintaining and tracking of all Multifamily housing funding assignments;
